This website was started so that the owners of vacation rental villas and properties in Orlando, Florida could list them on the internet free of charge and increase the ranking of their own websites in search engines.

We bought our own villa at Magic Landings, Kissimmee which was ready for holiday and vacation rentals at the start of 2007 but had difficulty finding cost effective websites where we could market the property. Cost was a major factor in the advertising of our rental home and we wanted somewhere where we could advertise our villa for free or at a minimal cost, which also provided a link back to our own website.

Anyone who owns a vacation rental villa and has invested in a website would understand that the major search engines (such as Google, Yahoo, MSN etc) "rank" or rate your websites according to the number of links that point to it (inbound links to the technically minded).

In our experience, most websites that you can register your villa with will only allow you to list your property for rental or sale with them by charging either a registration fee or commission on the price of the sale/rental. However, most websites advertising rental villas will not allow you to have a link back to your own website. The fewer links back to your own vacation rental villa website that you have reduces your chances of appearing in the first few pages of any search results. This is because the major search engines view other websites linking back to your own website as a "vote" on its popularity. Therefore your villa website appears "lower down" in the search engine rankings and runs the risk of not being "clicked on" by a prospective villa renter.
